Cranbrook Angling Club runs a match fishing section on most weekends throughout the year. |
Matches are held on a wide variety of our venues and on Rother Fishery Association rivers.
Points are awarded to the top ten weights in each match and are added up throughout the season to find the aggregate winner. There are also a few matches which are fished for specific trophies usually in memory of past members or club officers.
The matches are always an enjoyable experience; you don't have to be a serious match angler to take part. We would like to encourage more Junior members to enter these matches as well and give the oldies a run for their money!
If you are interested in taking part, either contact Bill Mitchell the CADAC Match Secretary for more information on 07723 473845 or just turn up on the day. Draws for pegs takes place 1 hour before match start.
Remember - Any member can take part in the matches - you don't have to be a 'match' angler - CADAC welcomes all types of anglers, specimen, pleasure or match. So come along and join in!
